Mixed media (ink, dye, acrylic, oil, fabric, vintage papers, text, string, buttons, coins, netting, etc.) on unstretched fabric with grommets for hanging or pockets with wooden dowels. Sizes ranging from 47” x 56” to 4’8” x 7’. 2019 - 2022. Also, cold wax mixed media paintings (pencil, acrylic, oil stick, fabric, netting, etc.) on stretched canvas, 30” x 40”. 2023. These cosmographies are less maps than weather: charting spatial clouds where text condenses into image and image thins back into script. Most of these are presented on unprimed cloth, banners that ripple and twist. Titles are seeds plucked from vintage texts floating in the constellations of the paintings.
